Salman Khan Convicted in Blackbuck Poaching Case

After 20 prolonged years Salman Khan has been held guilty in Blackbuck Poaching case, whereby the superstar had alongwith his co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Neelam and Tabu had killed two Blackbucks in 1998 while shooting for the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain. Blackbuck also known as Indian Antelope is a protected species under the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972  and killing the same is an offence under Schedule I of the Act.


A Court in Jodhpur today held Salman Khan guilty of offence under the Wild Life Protection Act, 1972. It has been reported that the Actor has been subjected to imprisonment of 5 years for the offence.
