Johnson & Johnson to Pay Damages to Women who Developed Cancer

It has been reported by the Indian Daily, The Business Standard that the women who allegedly developed ovarian cancer by using Johnson & Johnson Baby’s powder have been compensated by the Jury.


Reportedly, the baby product giant has been directed by the Jury in St. Louis, USA to pay 22 women who apparently developed cancer on account of long usage of Jonson & Johnson Powder, damages of $4.69 billion.

The Jury found that the Johnson & Johnson Powder was manufactured using asbestos. If reports are to be believed then the company is facing approximately 9000 product liability cases.
