Colour Stickers to be placed on Vehicles by October 2- Supreme Court of India

The Three-Judge Bench of the Supreme Court in the case of M.C. Mehta v. Union of India taken up by it on August 13, in view of suggestion of amicus curiae has directed that colour stickers should be placed on the windshield of the vehicles to give an indication of the nature of fuel being used.


Accordingly, it has been directed that light blue colour should be used for petrol/CNG vehicles and a hologram based sticker of orange colour should be used for diesel vehicles.

The Apex Court has directed that the order shall be implemented by October 2, 2018 in Delhi NCR.
