28. Penalty - If any person - (a) Contravenes any of the provisions of this Act or any rule made thereunder; or(b) To whom a direction is given or a requisition is made under this Act fails to comply with the direction or requisition. He shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both. |
