PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO GIVE NOTICE OF THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE BUILDING OR OTHER CONSTRUCTION WORK. - Where an employer fails to give notice of the commencement of the building or other construction work under Section 46, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees, or with both.
